What we check on every file

Every figure we can find in your documents is checked against them.
Every total is added up again, and every formula is worked out again.
Every figure the sheet shows is compared with what its formula gives, so a number typed over a formula shows up.
Anything left out of your file, or in it but in none of your documents, is named.

What you get back

One Excel workbook:

Findings. Every error, with where it is in your file, what your file says, what your documents say and what’s wrong.
Your own sheets, marked. When your file is a spreadsheet, every wrong cell is marked, with a note on it. Your file itself is never changed.
What couldn’t be checked. Anything that couldn’t be checked is listed, with the reason. Nothing is passed in silence.

What it isn’t

It checks figures, dates and arithmetic against your documents. Choices that are yours, such as an assumption, a category name or how the work is laid out, aren’t judged. It isn’t an audit, legal advice or tax advice.
